Frozen Yogurt Berries

If you're looking for a satisfying snack that you won't regret later, then these frozen yogurt berries are perfect!

We used honey and vanilla flavored Greek yogurt and a mixture of our favorite berries

Use a tooth pick to dip your berries in the yogurt, and another tooth pick to help you slide the berries onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper

If you get tired of only doing one berry at a time (like I did) you can always switch to this approach instead

Freeze the berries until the yogurt hardens

Now, it's time to enjoy!

Wouldn't these be delicious on top of ice cream?!

What's your favorite healthy snack?
We love to hear what you have to say so don't be shy!

We're linking at these great parties!

  1. WOW, that's a creative idea!!!
My favourite healthy snack is actually fruit with yogurt! I love mangoes and strawberries... with vanilla yogurt. If I have it, I sprinkle a little bit of granola on it.Hard to find a healthy recipe for granola, they are so rich it becomes "not so healthy". But adds some crunch!

    1. I make it with 3 cups oats, 1/4 cup oil, 1/2 cup honey, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, and a few dashes of cinnamon and bake for about 20-30 min at 325 I think?

  22. It is SO much easier to start with frozen berries! I bought organic frozen blueberries and blackberries and dumped them into a bowl with a container of honey greek yogurt. Mix everything up quickly because the yogurt will start to freeze to the outside of the berries. It's like coating a frozen banana with chocolate, the fruit is so cold it instantly freezes the coating. Then I spread them out on a silpat and popped them in the freezer for 15 minutes to make sure they were hardened. Put them in a baggie and store in the freezer. If you want to start with fresh berries, just lay them out on a silpat or cookie sheet and freeze before coating.

  25. Hmmmmm…Your post makes me think of changing my food habits! I actually think of healthy food as something boring, but reading your post made me realize they could be yummy and exciting. I bet frozen berries taste far better than artificial candy. Plus, yogurt is good for the tummy while berries are rich in vitamin C. Joseph Carr

  26. DO these need to be kept frozen? I was wondering how they would hold up in a child's lunch?

  28. Just tried these last night with plain vanilla Greek yogurt and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed. Maybe it's because I left them in the freezer overnight? Came out hard and tasteless...like I'm eating chunks of tangy ice..

  31. PERFECT TIMING! Hubby and I were just discussing the bad snacking going on in our house (specifically HIS chips and ice cream snacks) and he brought up berries. I told him I'd seen this and would check it out for us. My niece pinned this last night, so it showed up just when I needed it! :)

  32. It look really delicious! Berries with yogurt will really taste delicious. Yogurt made in home or from Homemadeyogurts.com is better for this dish as it will be more healthier.
